Dear Dr. ABC,

On behalf of the World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES) and Sponsors, it's our great pleasure to officially invite you to the XVIII World Congress of Comparative Education Societies, which will be held at the Cornell University, Ithaca, New York from 22-26 July, 2024. Congress Theme: "Fostering Inclusive Ecologies of Knowledge: Education for Equitable and Sustainable Futures”. And we are looking forward to welcoming you to our beautiful city of Ithaca, New York, a famed city on Cayuga Lake, in New York’s Finger Lakes region. It’s home to Cornell University and I.M. Pei–designed Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art  and waterfalls which are a huge attraction for many tourists.

Due to the new resolutions and recent decisions of the councilors in the immigration department regarding tourist visas, due to global issues on terrorism and criminal tendencies of immigrants as this mostly affected those that are coming to the United States of America with a tourist visa. This is entirely a new arrangement different from the old system just to check these global vices and also to discourage those without a genuine reason/ intention from entering into the United States of America.

The organizing committee and sponsors therefore decided to assist the participants with their visa processing for those who require a visa to the United States of America.

The visa processing is free (no payment is required). Our sponsors have also met with all major airline operators and hotel managements, and they have accepted a 30% discount if we are to make group bookings and hotel reservations for our delegates.

We will process your tourist visa here, and then send it to your country address, and give you a lay-down on who to meet in our embassy in your residing country with the command of the United States Department of Home Affairs to stamp your visa with the document you will receive which will allow you to travel to United States of America for a maximum of 90 days, it is important that we let you know the process.

We sincerely welcome our World Council of Comparative Education Societies (WCCES) members who wish to participate in the upcoming congress to reply to this email immediately for further information and on how to benefit from the 30% discount for both flight booking and hotel reservation.

We hope that you will take this opportunity to fulfil your continuing education needs, meet ,and gather colleagues from all over the world, to bring about new perspectives, cutting-edge critical research to shape a just, equitable, and sustainable future around the world.

Yours Sincerely,

Dr. N'Dri T. Assié-Lumumba
